Hardy Facepaint Review

Hardy Facepaint – This stuff is awesome!

At the recommendation of a friend last year, I bought some of the Hardy brand facepaint. Wow, this stuff is awesome! No more dipping my fingers in a greasy tray of facepaint and smearing it on my face, only to have it come off with sweat or from itching my face. Once the Hardy facepaint is dry it doesn’t come off until you want it to.

This is a water-based facepaint and once it is dry, it is water and sweat resistant. That means no runny facepaint from sweat or long sits in the rain. Only when you apply pressure and constant rubbing will the facepaint start to come off. To prevent the paint from coming off if you are sweaty or wet, simply blot your face rather then wiping it.

To apply the facepaint, you can use the handy applicator wand attached to the cap, or you can use your fingertip. The facepaint comes in three different colors, the all popular black, as well as green and brown. Depending on how thick you apply the facepaint, the dry time will vary, but it dries very quickly which will prevent smudging and paint transfer.

The paint comes off just as easily as it is applied. Simply wet a cloth and gently rub the area where the paint is applied and it comes right off. No need for harsh chemicals or scrubbing for hours to get this stuff off. As I said before, this stuff is amazing.

According to their website, their face paint is 80% made in the USA. The ingredients come from the United States, and the mixing of the face paint is done by hand and packaged right in their home state of Florida. But due to not being able to find anyone to make the canisters in the USA, they come from overseas. The facepaint is made without harsh preservatives, so it is recommended the paint be replaced every year.

Another great reason to buy this product is because they are proud supporters of hunting and wildlife conservation groups. A portion of each sale is donated to help restore, protect, and conserve public and private land ensuring a healthy and thriving habitat for animals. For more information on which groups they support, be sure to check them out on their website and while you’re there, purchase a tube and give it a try.
