My name is Terry Colley. I am married and a father of 2 kids. I was born in Southwest Virginia in the coal fields. I’m no stranger to the mountains. I currently live in Northeast Tennessee and I hunt in Virginia and Tennessee. I have been a double amputee all my life wearing a prosthetic leg since the age of 1. I also do prosthetics for a living. If there is one thing I have learned in life it is “Live every day like it’s your last”. I have never let my legs keep me from my passion which is hunting and fishing. My great grandfather got me started with an old .22 when I was 5 shooting Prince Albert cans. From that moment I was hooked. I want to be able to share my passion for the outdoors and show fellow amputees and veterans that you can still achieve your dreams with hard work and dedication. I hope one day to start a charter for amputees and veterans. At the end of the day, I want people to look at me and say, “That guy was really cool, full of passion and never gave up!”
