A backcountry bear/mountain lion hunt turned into a life-or-death situation in the blink of an eye. The anticipation was high for Braden Funderburg as he and his dad set out into the Arizona wilderness; and it didn't take long for Braden to get on a big bear during the first hunt. Hunting behind dogs, they were led to a cave where the big bear had decided to make his stand. After putting 2 rounds in the bear from an already short distance, the 3rd round was fired at point blank range as the bear charged out of the cave an off the mountain, grabbing Braden's leg on the way down!
