Tethrd Recliner Review

Recliner2-1.jpg

The Tethrd Recliner is an awesome piece to add to your all-day pack for saddle hunting! I recently pulled the trigger and decided to try it out. I hunted a solid 300+ hours this last season before trying it out. Now, I wish I would have sooner.

The Recliner is perfect for your all day sits giving your back the support it needs when saddle hunting. It's a simple product but the support it gives your back while you're in the tree makes the all-day sits easier to stay comfortable. The only thing I thought would be an issue is that the Recliner would get in the way when you were trying to get a shot off at a deer. Well, I found out firsthand that you can effortlessly get a shot on a deer while the Recliner is still on you. I had a deer in range 10 yards down a shooting lane, and with ease I was able to pull back the bow and had no problem taking a shot. If anything were to be said at all, I'd say the Recliner gave me more support to just lean back, relax and shoot. The Recliner also gives you the peace of mind when you go to get in your stand 2 to 3 hours prior to hunting that you can comfortably and safely lay back and take a quick nap.

Rated on a 10 Scale:

Price - 7/10

The product is priced at $29.99 which isn't bad, but Tethrd always has a shipping charge so it could run you anywhere from $35-$40. Although, I would still not hesitate to purchase this product now knowing the stability it gives my back while hunting.

User friendly - 10/10

This thing sets up in seconds. All you do is wrap it around your back where you want it, put the strap in the carabiner, and tighten it up to the slack you want! It’s super easy to set up.

Packing Friendly - 9/10

It only weighs 4oz. so no issues there. You can throw it in your backpack, pocket or SYS hauler and you won't even know it's there.

Personal Rating - 7/10

This is, for sure, a product that will help you stay in the saddle on those all day sits. Easy to pack up, easy to set up, and it keeps your back from getting sore after 12+ hours in the stand for 2 consecutive weeks. This is an awesome product to have during the rut when you know you'll be grinding in the saddle.
