Bowtech RPM 360 Bow Review

This isn't the first time I've reviewed a new bow. If you've been following us for a while, you've probably read my reviews on the new Hoyt Carbon Spyder, the Hoyt Faktor, the Mathews Creed XS and the Mathews Chill R. You probably also know that I'm a Hoyt guy. Always have been, and probably always will be. That's just to remind you where this is coming from.

So, the new BowTech RPM 360. I'll come right out and say; the best BowTech I've ever shot! Smooth draw, extremely solid back wall, doesn't try to dislocate your arm when you have to let down, and it shoots super fast! (which it should, since it IBO's at 360 fps) The only thing I didn't like was some very obvious hand vibration, but we threw a stabilizer on and it quickly did it's job!

There are two biggies as far as the bow's design. The first being a much thicker riser. BowTech made this riser close to twice as thick as they normally do, so when you look at this thing, one would think that you could run it over with a pickup truck and it'd still be in one piece. Second, the limbs. If I'm iffy about one thing it's this. The limbs are taking on some pretty severe angles, and I honestly expect we will see a few of these coming back with limb issues. Be careful with this bow guys...it may look all cool, but it is certainly not one that you want to accidentally dry fire.

Overall, I see some good potential in this new BowTech. I believe that we now finally have access to a speed bow that is pleasant to shoot. It's certainly not as aggressive as the PSE Omen, DNA, or the Full Throttle. Check it out when you get the chance. You don't have to be a BowTech guy to be impressed!
