Mr. Heater Little Buddy Review

I recently purchased the Mr. Heater “Little Buddy” as a way to help keep my daughter warmer during the cold winter months of rifle season while we tried to get her first deer. I was looking for something that I could easily pack in and out, while providing enough heat to keep us comfortable. After doing some research, I found this unit at our local sporting goods store and decided to give it a try.

First Impression

This unit was a little larger than I was initially expecting after looking at pictures online, but I was happy that I was still able to fit the unit and a propane cylinder in my backpack. The quality seemed very good and looked easy to use, with minimal controls. The safety features on the heater were an added bonus.

With an MSRP of $99.99, without the disposable propane cylinders, it is a little pricey in my opinion, but it is worth it during those long cold sits during the winter months to help take the chill off. This could be especially helpful in keeping kids interested in the hunt by not having to deal with being extremely cold.

Overall, I am happy with this purchase and am excited to continue to use this during late archery season here in Pennsylvania. I recommend this to anyone looking for a portable heater unit for hunting, fishing, camping, or any other type of event you may need a little extra heat for. This product is restricted in Canada and the State of Massachusetts so be sure to check local regulations.
