Wildgame Innovations Terra Trail Cam Review

Are you looking for a smart and inexpensive way to put cameras out on public land? If you are, this game camera will fit your needs like a glove! The Terra 8mp is a very simple camera to run. Like most other cameras, you can set the date and time. What I wasn't expecting was that it takes high quality daytime, as well as nighttime, pictures despite its low price point. Obviously, it doesn't take the same quality picture as a 24mp. However, if you are anything like me, when I put a game camera up, I'm looking for just enough of a visual to see which buck I'm working with and what size it is, and the Terra 8mp does an awesome job of that.

The Terra 8mp also plays 15 second video clips. The trigger rate is at 1 second, but to me, if it needs to trigger something quicker than that, you're either hunting a cheetah or trying to catch a deer that is always sprinting past the camera, which is more than likely not the case! I've captured some awesome shots of my target buck with this camera. There are quite a few good perks to owning this camera but the best one is at its price point. It isn't as painful to have it stolen from the woods as a more expensive camera. I've had this camera last an entire year on one set of batteries so it's easy on the batteries as well!

Rated on a 10 scale:

Price - 10/10:

You really can't find a game camera cheaper than this one. The price on Amazon is $30-$37. Trust me, that right there is hard to pass up on.

User Friendly - 9/10:

Super easy camera to use and figure out. It runs the same way as many other game cameras do so there isn't anything out of the ordinary to throw you off.

Quality of picture - 8/10:

I've had some awesome quality pictures taken from this game camera. Like any other camera, there will be some bad one’s but the good one’s are awesome for the price.

Overall Personal Rating - 8/10:

This is an awesome camera for anyone looking for an inexpensive game camera that has quality pictures.
