E6: Doe Patrol

Sam is back on Texas Dirt, and ready to start early filling the freezer! He has the family in tow, and gets in a little fishing with the kiddos prior to his evening hunt. Nothing like a little doe patrol, combined with bringing up the next generation!

E5: Hogzilla

Opening week of the 2022 Texas Bow Season, and you know where we are! It didn't take long for the action to pick up either. While he was ready to launch an arrow on a deer or hog, Sam didn't expect to draw back on THIS! This is the story of our first kill of the 2022 season, and Sam's biggest wild hog to date with a bow!

E4: Two Steps Back

It's September, and bow season was fast approaching on Texas Dirt. It didn't feel like it though; aside from the 90-degree temps, our crew found themselves running damage control. The cattle on the property tore through more than half of the setups, which is the last thing you want weeks before the season. Sam and Nick are making the best of it, but it definitely feels like one step forward, and two steps back.

E3: Start ‘Em Young

Deer Season is coming, and we are getting ready! In this episode, Sam takes a quick trip to Texas Dirt to fill some feeders, set some new SpyPoint Cameras, and adjust his feeding times from summer settings to fall settings. He has some additional company though; his 4-year old son Wyatt and brand new hunting pup, Ranger. Never too early to start the next generation!

E2: Heat & Hogs

It's not every day to get to check one off the bucket list, but we made it happen, and on Texas Dirt! Fall Obsession Coordinator Todd Sellon flew down to Texas for a few days, and Sam couldn't let him leave without experiencing hog hunting in Texas! Todd had never hunted in the Lone Star State before, and they hit the ground running! 100+ degree temps, hogs hitting the ground, and a little bit of scouting completed...this is one to remember!

E1: New Year, New Sets

We begin a new year on Texas Dirt! We begin season 2 with Sam and his dad back on the 800+ acre Texas lease to get last year's setups back up and running, following by setting up in some new locations. Sam explains their thought process behind these setups, and how they plan to adapt some spots for both rifle and bow hunting.
