I was born and raised in Coopersville, Michigan, which is a small farming community halfway between Grand Rapids and Lake Michigan. My husband (Pro Staffer Todd Sellon) and I own a small farm (Cedar Ridge Outdoors) where we raise horses, chickens, guinea hens, pheasants, and our four dogs. Our daughters, Tala and Piper, are our biggest helpers on the farm and understand the importance of farming, hunting, and protecting the world around us. During the day I am a high school teacher, in the evenings I coach basketball and track, and during the summer I work for the Michigan DNR as a Piping Plover Steward (educator). All of my freetime is spent working the farm, enjoying nature, hunting/fishing, and enjoying my girls.
