I was born and raised in Western New York along the shores of Lake Erie, where hunting and the outdoors have been a part of my life for more than 30 years. Over that time, I’ve experienced plenty of success, plenty of failures, and more than a few lessons that only the woods can teach you.
I’m the founder of RYTAC Hunt Systems, a company built around developing technology to help hunters recover game and make the most of every opportunity in the field. I’m also a contributing writer for Whitetail Life Magazine, where I enjoy sharing the experiences, observations, and lessons I’ve picked up throughout my years of hunting.
Outside of hunting and writing, I’m a father of three and a lifelong German Shepherd lover. I’ve always believed that some of the best memories we make happen outdoors, whether you come home with a trophy or simply spend another day in the woods with family and friends.
For me, hunting has never been just about the kill. It’s about the pursuit, the lessons, the people you share it with, and the memories that stay with you long after the season ends.
After more than three decades in the woods, I’m still learning, and I’m still just as excited to see what the next hunt brings.
