Avian-X Topflight Open Water Decoys

One thing you’ll find when starting to duck hunt is that your decoys have an effect on how well your hunt goes. Cheap, paint chipped decoys will work in the early season when the ducks are molting and “ugly”. But come late season when ducks have their nice beautiful, colorful feathers, you’re going to want a decoy to match.

The Avian-X Mallards are, in my opinion, one of the best decoys out there. They look just like a real green head. Most of the time you won’t even need to do any calling, since the ducks will just lock right in to your setup. It’s happened to me many times, and sometimes you don’t even see them coming in until you hear the splash in the water. These guys also have a place to put your line in which makes them give off the natural movements of a duck, even in real slow flow streams!

These decoys can take all the use and abuse you can dish out at them. They will last season after season. From falling off the tailgate of the truck to taking a few BB shots here and there, I’ve put them through a lot of abuse so far this year and they still look like I just pulled them out of the box. These decoys are built good. Built to last. And built for the duck hunter.
