Leupold VX6 4-24 x 56mm CDS Scope Review

The Luepold VX6 rifle scope is extremely clear, and makes it very easy to pick up the reticle. The illuminated reticle works extremely well, featuring 5 different brightness settings. The brightness is easily adjusted by pushing in the parallax adjustment knob. When using at an indoor range, I personally recommend you have the illumination turned off.

The scope easily zooms from 4 to 24 and stays just as clear at 24 power as it does at 4 power. The left and right adjustment knob is very easy to turn and adjust. The same can be said for the up and down adjustment knob. It also features a lock button to help ensure you do not accidentally bump it while moving the parallax adjustment or the left / right adjustment knob.

The parallax adjustment knob is easy to adjust with ranges as low as 75 yards up to infinity, with the highest actually distance being 600 yards. The scope was able to handle the recoil of the .338 Lapua with no problems. I mounted the scope with 34MM Steiner Rings, which also handled the recoil of the rifle with no problems.

The scope is an excellent product, and I would recommend it anyone looking for a new long-range rifle optic.
