Savage 110 BA Stealth .338 Lapua Review

The Savage 110 BA Stealth in .338 Lapua is an excellent long-range chassis system.

The rear stock easily adjusts both its length and check height. The accu-trigger is also smooth and breaks very cleanly. When the rifle is fired from a bench via bi-pod, the recoil is quite mild. The pistol grip is for easy control of the rifle. The box magazine easily slides in and out of the rifle. The magazine release is also easy to locate and use. The safety is a slide button behind where the bolt rests. It is very easy to set and release. It also is very easy to see if it is on safe or on fire. The 2 rails give you a ton of mounting options for optics, lasers, and rangefinders. The forward swivel allows for easy mounting of a bi-pod, sling, or both. The rear stock has an easy to use sling attachment point. The muzzle break really helped with the recoil.

Overall the gun is excellent, and I would recommend it to anyone who is looking at getting into long-range shooting.

In my next review, I will cover the optics I have chosen to mount on this rifle.
